I don't think it's a good idea to include that patch as it says it can break hostapd or other injectors.

The patch won't be included in it's current state, the documentation makes sense but it explicitly states that it will break other things and it says how it *should* be done by the FIXME (it says what the correct version of the patch should change)

Maybe a revised/fixed patch could be included, but not this version (it's easy to apply yourself anyway - if you need it go for it) - reset your git tree with "git reset --hard" if a pull conflicts with it for any reason.
