I found out aufs failed to build on 2.6.33-zen1 when CGROUP is enabled.
Others which I believe bug in mainline are:
1. 3d screensavers will hang system with intel kms (does not happen in 2.6.32)
2. tg3 module will fail because broadcom module not being loaded first

Aufs problems should all be fixed in git now ;)
I do not know of any fixes for those upstream problems yet, but i imagine that they'll be fixed by 2.6.33.1 or 2.6.33.1-rc*
