Target release:
hello everyone,

first, i would like to praise the zen team for all of their hard work.
i have been using zen-kernels for about 2 months, compiled several kernels and have been taking advantage of many of the wonderful features not found upstream. awesomeness! now, to my problem :)

recently, i had a router die because of a power outage. i have replaced the router, and the day i replaced it, i tried to use git to grab zen-stable.

git no longer works, on this site only! i use it elsewhere no problem.

the message i get from my console is:

[root@Ninez src]# git clone git://git.zen-kernel.org/kernel/zen-stable.git linux-2.6-zen
Initialized empty Git repository in /usr/src/linux-2.6-zen/.git/
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly

i am not sure how to fix this, it is frustrating. i asked elsewhere, most people think it is some sort of timing issue with your site? but that makes no sense to me.

i would love some help, if anyone has any clues, or a solution....?

ts9

Steps to reproduce:
[root@Ninez src]# git clone git://git.zen-kernel.org/kernel/zen-stable.git linux-2.6-zen
Initialized empty Git repository in /usr/src/linux-2.6-zen/.git/

fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly (the error message)

I just checked the Gentoo ebuild, seems the documentation is wrong:
http://zen-kernel.org/tutorials/git-based-installation

correct uri:
stable:
git clone git://zen-kernel.org/kernel/zen-stable.git linux-2.6-zen
unstable:
git clone git://zen-kernel.org/kernel/zen.git linux-2.6-zen

Thanks to the guys on gentoo forums :)
